You can participate in the meeting either on a PC or mobile device:

  • If you are attending a meeting registered at the CEPT portal, find the meeting link in your profile pages under “My Meetings” - the link is a blue box marked “mHub” - this will start both the MHub and the GotoMeeting app simultaneously.

  • On a PC you click the link received, and can choose to access the meeting via an installed application on your computer - if you are not able to install the application you can use a browser based version (only for Chrome, Internet Explorer or Edge browser).

Please remember to mute your microphone when not needed, if meetings have many participants there can be a lot of feedback noise which is not wanted.

Important info

It’s important that we can identify everyone who is participating in the call as well as the current speaker in order to efficiently manage the meeting and for the sake of transparency. The following is recommended:

  1. GoToMeeting has options to use the computer audio or to dial in by phone. The computer audio is normally recommended if the user has the necessary hardware and a reliable connection. For participants using the phone for audio it’s important that they disable the computer audio otherwise feedback can occuoccur

  2. Participants dialling in by phone should use the “Audio PIN” feature to identify themselves. This allows other users to see the name of the current speaker on the screen instead of “Caller 01”, and to allow the organisers to mute phone callers in case of noise/interference, if organisers is not able to determine the speaker behind a caller , the caller can be logged off the meeting audio.

  3. Participants from the same organisation are advised to dial in individually from their desk rather than sharing a microphone in the same room - unless adequate equipment is used.
