where for each interferer

  •     f_ILT    : frequency of the ILT;
  •     f_VLR   : frequency of the VLR;
  •     emission_ILT(f_ILT - f_VLR) : relative emission mask which is a function of Df = ;
  •     g^PC_ILT       : power control gain for the ILT with the power control function, see ‎ANNEX 14:;
  •     G_ILT->VLR : ILT antenna gain in the direction of the VLR;
  •     PL_ILT->VLR: path loss between the interefering link transmitter i and the victim link receiver;
  •    G_VLR->ILT: VLR antenna gain in the direction of the ILT.

In addition, relative emission mask is introduced to enable calculations of interference between systems in the same or adjacent bands. The real emission is always greater or equal than the absolute emission floor.
