You can perform a sanity check on the distribution that you are using with the test distribution function from the menu bar of SEAMCAT. You may test the result of generating random values using a particular distribution type by selecting the <Test Distributions> command from the Workspace menu, by clicking on the icon of the toolbar (
) or by pressing <CTRL+SHIFT+D>. This could be e.g. used to analyse the statistical qualities of generated random variables.
