A sanity check on distributions can be done with the test distribution function from the menu bar of SEAMCAT. The result of generating random values using a particular distribution type can be tested by selecting the <Test Distributions> command from the Workspace menu, by clicking on the icon of the toolbar (
) or by pressing <CTRL+SHIFT+D>. This could be e.g. used to analyse the statistical qualities of generated random variables.
