Notifications

The Rocket Chat system can will display notifications differently, depending on which device your are are using.

Device

PC application

The notifications will be displayed as described in the "Notifications" page.

Mobile device

When acessing with the mobile app, the system will dispatch notifications through either Apple or Google notifications system.

The settings are personal for the owner of the device.

We recommend NOT to enable notifications on mobile devices. In high volume chats with a lot of traffic, the notifications can become abruptive for the normal use of the mobile device.

NOTIFICATIONS SETTINGS

You can maintain how you wish to receive notifications in your Chat profile settings:

Go to the "My account" section when clicking the user avatar.

Under the section "Notifications" you can adjust how to be notified.
