General configuration settings for terrain features

General terrain settings in SEAMCAT are configured in Configuration settings (File / Configuration). These are general settings for terrain use in SEAMCAT and when setup is stored for later use. These settings are used for Terrain settings of new workspace created, loading older workspaces which do not contain terrain settings and in SEAMCAT tools with terrain functionalities (e.g. Terrain profile tool, Test propagation models tool).

Within SEAMCAT configuration, user can define digital terrain settings for DEM data and for clutter height profile data. In configuration user can define file format of terrain data and folder path to the source of the terrain data and clutter height profile data.
