The implementation in SEAMCAT contains a consistency check of input parameters. It produces error messages if input parameters are not in the range specified by Recommendation ITU-R P. 528 i.e.:
- Minimum (ground) antenna height : [1.5-1 000] m;
- Maximum (aero) antenna height: [1 000-20 000] m;
- Frequency: [125-15 500] MHz;
- Time percentage: [1-95] %;
- Distance: [0-1800] km.
