As a Chair or Vicechair, you have the option to manage Group Questions
Please note the function must be enabled in the group, this can only be done by ECO. Also the Group Question only works within the group, users not member of the group are not able to respond to the questions.

Create / Editing a Group Question
To create a new Group Question, navigate to the group that will answer the question.
Click the “Create Question” button
Fill out the form for the question (see description of the fields below)
Topic | The question asked |
Anonymous answering | When respondees answers, then system dont register the details of the respondee |
Display final result | The result of the question will be displayed for the respondee’s |
Answer option | Single choice - the respondee can only select one answer Multiple choice - the respondee can select muliple answers |
Choices | Type a text or select the calendar option to select dates and ranges |
Expiry | You can set the Group Question to expire at specific date/time or time in seconds |
Group Question “Hidden” | This means the question will not be visible in the Group Question list, remember you will have to distribute it via link in an email. The link will be visible for you in the Group Question List |
When saved the Group Question will have a status of “Upcoming”. This means its not available for the group users yet - until you click the “Start” button.
Executing Group Question
The Group Question is launched to the users by clicking the “Start” button.
Status will now change to “Active”, and members of the group will be alerted a new question i ready for them.
You can follow the progress of the question - by the counter, and depending on the settings also the answers given.
In this state, you can no longer edit the question, only options are to finish the question , and copy it to a new question. If it is a hidden question - the icon to copy the link is also visible.
Closing Group Question
To close the question, click the “Finish” button.
When the question is closed, it will disappear from the group list.
You will find the archive list on your start page - “My Questions” - here you will see the past and present questions and the results.
