A look up table is used to map throughput in terms of spectral efficiency (bps per Hz) with respect to calculated SINR (= C/(I+N)) (dB) level. Bitrate mapping is connecting radio link quality parameter of SINR to data rates which is then considered in bitrate analysis of reference cell and cellular system in results tab. Bitrate mapping library has predefined functions for IMT-2020 downlink and IMT-2020 uplink determined from (3GPP TR 38.803, section 5.2.7) as shown in Figure 10.
However, link level data (bitrate mapping) is user selectable and can be modified depending on the system characteristics and simulation to perform.
