A simulation is started when you click on the Start button of SEAMCAT toolbar (
). The simulation starts and all other commands/buttons are, meanwhile, disabled except the stop button (
). SEAMCAT automatically performs the consistency check of the scenario parameters before starting the event generation (see Section 2.9).
The simulation runs until the number of events has been performed or if you stop the simulation prematurely by pressing the stop button.
