2.7 Running and stopping a simulation
A simulation is started when clicking on the Start button in the simulation control part of the Scenario tab ( ). The simulation starts and all other commands/buttons are, meanwhile, disabled except the stop button ( ). SEAMCAT automatically performs the consistency check of the scenario parameters before starting the event generation (see Section 2.9).
The simulation runs until the number of events has been performed or if the simulation is stopped prematurely by pressing the stop button.
