For one single event, the instantaneous desired Received Signal Strength, dRSScalc is calculated as

  •     : Power supplied to the VLT antenna;
  •     : VLT antenna gain in the direction of the VLR;
  •   : VLR antenna gain in the direction of the VLT;
  •     : Path loss between the VLT and the VLR.
