Description | Symbol | Type | Unit | Comments |
Variation | Â | Â | Â | Variation in path loss |
General environment | Â | Â | Â | Environment of the propagation: urban, rural, suburban, dense urban |
System | Â | Â | Â | Mobile, broadcasting digital and broadcasting analogue |
Time Percentage (min) |  |  |  | Minimum time variability from which the field strength values are exceeded |
Time percentage (max) |  |  |  | Maximum time variability from which the field strength values are exceeded |
use user specified local clutter height | Â | Â | Â | User selectable clutter height value which overwrite any predefined value when selected |
use user specified standard deviation | Â | Â | Â | User selectable standard deviation value which overwrite any predefined value when selected |
Area of location variability | Â | Â | Â | 500x500 m, < 2km radius, < 50 km radius |
Terminal designations |  |  |  | When selected the algorithm will consider the option a), b) and c) of ITU-R. 1546-4 Annex 5 §1.1. By default it is selected. |
This propagation model is fully described in Recommendation ITU-R P.1546-4. Only the land path is implemented. The sea path and the mixed sea/land path are not implemented. The ranges of application are the same as for the P1546-1.Â
