9.3 General settings

The General settings tabsheet contains a range of OFDMA system parameters as well as some parameters that depend on the modelled direction of OFDMA link (uplink vs. downlink). 8 panels characterise the OFDMA DL system while 9 panels characterise the OFDMA UL system. The below graphic represent the OFDMA DL.

There are two differences between OFDMA DL and UL. The first difference is the definition of transmit power. OFDMA DL does not have a power control algorithm. The second difference is the OFDMA UE Distribution panel available only for OFDMA UL.
